5 different vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police

Acting tough on the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which dedicated police teams of P/S Akhnoor, P/S Khour and PP Jourian acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized five different vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:

1) 2 tractor trollies i.e one bearing Registration No. JK02AS 5974 and other without registration number, by P/S Khour

2) 2 dumpers bearing Registration Nos. JK21TR 1899 and JK11E7192, by PS Akhnoor

3) 1 Tractor Trolley bearing Chasis No. UB1524925A by PP Jourian

The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
